- Dee writes about home. She is the writer and performer of her one-woman show "DeeConstruction or There is No Place Like Home Repair". She teaches at The Second City Comedy Theater in Los Angeles. As an ensemble member of The Second City in Chicago, Dee performed with actors and writers Steve Carell, Adam McKay, Nia Vardalos, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Jon Favreau, Neil Flynn, Amy Sedaris, Scott Adsit, Dave Koechner and Horatio Sans. Dee originated the role of Dee in The Reduced Shakespeare Company’s production of “The Complete Millennium Musical Abridged” and you can hear her sing on the original cast album. Dee performed with “Modern Problems in Science” at The Adelaide Comedy Festival in Adelaide, Australia. She has worked as a writer for Disney Animated features with her husband Austin Tichenor. On television, you may have seen her in “The Office”, “The Practice” or “Ten Items or Less”. She played Dee on Episode #24 of HGTV's "Landscaper's Challenge".
